Family and Community Support Services (F.C.S.S) is a unique 80/20 funding partnership between the Government of Alberta and participating municipalities (or Métis Settlements.)
The Villages of Mannville, Minburn and Innisfree and the County of Minburn received provincial funding approval in 1986 for MMI-FCSS.
The Village of Innisfree is contracted to fund an annual requisition for the provision of MMI-FCSS services to Village of Innisfree residents.
MMI-FCSS provides programs and services for:
- Children & Youth - School-based programs, Youth Engagement, Teen Drop-in, Family Resource Network
- Community Development & Service -Indirect Services, Volunteer, Foot Print Project
- Facilitation & Supports - Friendly Phone visiting, Home Support, Meals-on-Wheels
- Public Information and Supports - "Let's Talk," "Endeavor to Be Different"
- Connecting Community - Block Parties, Newcomer's Package, Coffee Connections
