Family Resilience Program

As a spoke service of the Kayna Family Resource Network; WJS Canada provides FREE in-home support services for families with children aged 0 - 18 in several counties including the County of Minburn (& Lamont and Two Hills County.)

Family Support Workers are dedicated to working alongside families to promote resilience and enhance family connections.

If a family is uncomfortable meeting with a Family Support Worker in their home, meetings can happen virtually, in the WJS office, of within the community.

Support services are provided to help families navigate day-to-day stressors, such as parent-child conflict; sibling rivalry, positive parenting strategies, behavior management, information about child development and connection to community resources and support.

Referrals can be made by schools, community agencies, family members and self-referral.

Caring Families: This Program is intended for families with children aged 0 - 6, including expectant mothers.

Family Resilience: This program is intended for families with children aged 7 - 18.
