Alberta Chambers of Commerce

The Alberta Chambers of Commerce (ACC) is a voluntary federation of independent Chambers of Commerce and Boards of Trade in communities throughout Alberta. We promote civic, commercial, and industrial progress within Alberta.

Alberta Chamber of Commerce: Priority Areas:

The economic well-being of our province is directly related to the calibre of work that we do. We work with businesses across the province to identify target areas of challenge and opportunity so that we can make an impact through legislation.

The Chamber offers several programs and initiatives for all types of businesses:

1. Chamber Online Market:

The Chamber Online Market launched in 2021, the Chamber Market is the one-stop shop for buying local.

In partnership with local chambers across the province, we’ve brought together all your favourite Alberta makers into one space for easy, convenient shopping!

There are currently more than 200 Alberta businesses on Chamber Market offering more than 3,380 products for sale online.

Are you a business owner ready to start selling online?

Start by creating your Chamber Market account or contact absupport@chambermarket.ca for more information.

2. Business Apprenticeship Program:

Our Business Apprenticeship Program (BAP) bridges the gap between post-secondary institutions and the business community.

This program supports students in accessing quality work integrated learning opportunities while assisting businesses with recruitment and accessing student wage subsidies.

There are various funding supports available and we work with students and employers to help alleviate any financial barriers in engaging in this program.

Students and employers can create an account on the Business Apprenticeship Portal – this portal connects employers with talent, making recruitment efforts easy and efficient!

  • Nationwide student recruitment across 85+ post secondary institutions with one click
  • Intelligent job matching based on skills, experience, education, and industry-specific certifications
